STEAM Day in Western PA 4/17/2026

ACEC/PA is hosting our inaugural STEAM Day event in western PA in 2026!

This event is open to middle school students who like building things, solving puzzles and making ideas come to life. There will be hand-on activities and opportunities to get up close with some of the large equipment. Lunch is included and space will be limited. 

No matter where you are in the Commonwealth, you can still participate and we need your help. 

• Volunteer the day of the event. We'll need greeters, monitors and much more to pull this off. Click on the "register" button above to help on Thursday with set up, and/or on Friday with the event.
• Sponsor the event. See our sponsorship opportunities to the right. You do not need to be present to support this cause.
• Man an activity station. We are looking for hosts to provide hand-on activities for the students that will help get them engaged and interested in civil engineering. To sign up for an activity station, please contact Stacy Ginkel.
