Event Details
We are launching our FutureNOW program with a complimentary tour of the Pittsburgh Water Treatment Plant!
FutureNOW is a brand-new initititive for ACEC/PA geared towards early-career engineers with 15 years or less of experience. This is an opportunity for our next generation of engineering leaders to network with peers of their own experience level and learn from leaders in our industry.
Our first event will be a tour led by Kevin Wood, Senior Manager of Water Quality Production, followed by Rachael Beam, Chief Engineering Officer, who will present on her water sector career path.

How to Get There
- The address for the tour is 900 Freeport Road Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
- The plant is located directly across from Waterworks Plaza in Aspinwall. If you are using Waze, make sure you do not get directed to Blawnox or Brackenridge.
- Driving to this part of town can sometimes involve a bit of traffic. Check with your GPS for the quickest routes. If you are approaching from Route 28/Downtown, the entrance to the plant will be on the right. After turning into the plant, you will cross railroad tracks and arrive at the security gate.
Please note, there will be a waiver you will have to sign before going on the tour.
