Event Details

FutureNOW is a new initiative for ACEC/PA geared towards early-career engineers with 15 years or less of experience. This is an opportunity for our next generation of engineering leaders to network with peers of their own experience level and learn from leaders in our industry.

The next stop for FutureNOW is the Harrisburg International Airport where we will take a tour with Belinda Svirbely, Deputy Director, Operations, Security and Public Safety, for the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority. Built on a decommissioned U.S. Air Force Base, the airport features an oversized 10,001-foot runway capable of landing the world's largest cargo planes and occasionally hosts touch-and-goes for "Air Force One". It continues to host the Pennsylvania Air National Guard's 193rd Special Operations Wing.

The tour is free of charge, but we do have a limited number of people that can participate, so early registration is encouraged.

We hope you’ll join us for this behind‑the‑scenes look.. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Since space is limited, we ask that no more than three associates attend from any given office. Thank you for your understanding. For questions, please contact Sarah Babski at sbabski@acecpa.org.
