Event Details
FutureNOW is a brand-new initiative for ACEC/PA geared towards early-career engineers with 15 years or less of experience. This is an opportunity for our next generation of engineering leaders to network with peers of their own experience level and learn from leaders in our industry.
Our next event will be a tour of the construction at Beaver Stadium at Penn State University led by Dwayne Rush, P.E., CEFP, LEED AP, project manager, Office of Physical Plant. Following the tour, we will have the opportunity to hear from John Bechtel, P.E., assistant vice president for design and construction, Office of Physical Plant.
This is a free event, however there is no parking at the construction trailers so you will have to pay to park. Specifics instructions will be sent out to attendees prior to the event. Since we will stay out of the construction zone, no PPE equipment will be required but it is requested that you wear closed-toe shoes.
Since space is limited, we ask that no more than three associates attend from any given office. Thank you for your understanding. For questions, please contact Sarah Babski at sbabski@acecpa.org.
Penn State is executing a $700 million multi-year renovation, focused primarily on the stadium’s west side, with completion expected by the 2027 football season.
