The American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) is devoted exclusively to the promotion and enhancement of the business interests of the consulting engineering industry and our partners in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
ACEC/PA presents a strong, unified voice in state and local policy debates to help ensure that member firms can compete fairly in an increasingly aggressive global market. It is also the goal of ACEC/PA to increase awareness and educate the general
public, prospective students, and political figures on the important role that engineers play in society; promote the importance of the engineering profession to the United States and global economy; and foster the education of future generations
of engineering professionals.
ACEC/PA Membership Levels

Full Membership -- for firms registered to practice engineering in Pennsylvania; includes membership in ACEC (national) where applicable; dues are determined according to a formula.
Affiliate Membership -- for firms in related professions, such as insurance, finance/accounting, suppliers, construction, legal, scientific and technology support; nonvoting member, but may participate in all programs, participate on committees and receive all materials; dues: $1,590.

in Pennsylvania and at the National Level.
Political Action Committees
ACEC/PA is politically active in our state and federal government systems. Our State and federal PACs allow ACEC/PA members the opportunity to support and keep candidates in office who support
a pro-business legislative agenda and is bipartisan.
Chapter meetings are held in the eastern, central and western Pennsylvania locations, where you will meet with industry leaders and peers to discuss issues and develop lasting relationships.
Government Affairs Breakfasts
ACEC/PA Government Affairs Breakfast meetings are held monthly, except during December and the summer, to bring the ACEC/PA membership with legislative and governmental agency leaders.
ACEC/PA hosts a yearly conference in the Fall geared toward Transportation related topics held in Hershey, PA; an annual Spring Conference which provides education for all departments of your company to overcome business challenges while creating a successful firm and partnering with various local, state, federal government agencies and like coalitions and partners; and an Annual Leadership Conference which brings together senior level staff at an off-site or out of state location consisting of education, networking and important discussion topics.
Diamond Awards for Engineering Excellence Gala
The ACEC/PA Diamond Awards for Engineering Excellence Gala is held in February/March to recognize the engineering achievements of Pennsylvania engineering firms. Project recognition is given to engineering firms and to their clients. Several individual/business awards are also presented at this event including Client of Distinction and Award of Merit.
Throughout the year, ACEC/PA conducts educational seminars on business practice topics important to the membership. Nationally recognized speakers present information necessary for every engineering business.
