Vice Chair: Jill Thompson – Orth-Rodgers & Associates, Inc.

Objectives:

1. Monitor current legislative and regulatory initiatives affecting the business of engineering firms.

2. Communicate positions and actions to the membership of ACEC/PA.

3. Assist in guiding the government liaison and lobbying efforts of the Association.

4. Help to build strong relationships with state and local governmental agencies which are critical to the success of member firms.

Upcoming Events

We are getting ready for the 2013-2104 GAC season. The following dates have been confirmed for the upcoming season:

September 11, 2013 - PennDOT Secretary of Transportation Barry Schoch

October 9, 2013 - speaker to be determined

November 20, 2013 - Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission CEO Mark Compton

**please note all GAC breakfasts for the 2013-2014 season will be held at the Hershey Lodge and will begin at 8:00am.
