The PA Design Association Center is an association management company formed and owned by ACEC/PA and the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors. It provides leadership, vision and strategic direction to support the engineering, land surveying and related professions’ quality of life and economic stability.
When you call our office, the first voice you hear will likely be Laurie Troutman’s. Laurie has been with the Design Association Center for more than 10 years and can answer all of your administrative questions, such as membership information, meeting registrations, and billing. She also is responsible for getting questions to the right person. It is helpful if you provide as much information as possible to Laurie so that we can get you an answer quickly.
Kate Sherman is our Director of Communications and Member Services. Kate came to the Design Association Center with extensive association experience. She is your contact for Web site issues, project announcements and the DeSign of the Times newsletter.
Andrew J. Hilt is our Executive Vice President. Andy joined the Design Association Center in 2001 as Director of Government Relations, and assumed the duties of Executive Vice President in 2007. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Design Association Center and ACEC/PA, Andy heads up legislative and agency advocacy. Because of his wide range of duties, he is often out of the office and asks that you provide detailed messages to staff so that they can start to work on your concern as soon as possible.
