Facilities Committee

Chair:  Glen L. Hair - Gannett Fleming, Inc.

The ACEC/PA Facilities Committee provides liaison with the Pennsylvania Department of General Services and other local agencies regarding the improvement of facilities and contracts for the building environment. The committee also provides representatives from ACEC/PA to the joint AIA/Pennsylvania, ACEC/PA, and PA Society of Professional Engineers Joint Liaison Committee.

Objectives:

1. Monitor building facility issues that may impact member firms.
2. Serve as liaison with the PA Department of General Services (DGS) and other state and local building owner agencies.
3. Undertake a proactive legislative and regulatory advocacy program on facilities-related issues.
4. Communicate with the ACEC/PA membership regarding vital facilities-related issues that will affect their business.
