Monitors the practices of engineering firms on administration, insurance, fiscal management, and personnel development and conducts programs to provide education on these areas.
1. Committee Goals
a. Continue with Business Practice Roundtables before Chapter meetings in October, January and March
b. Annual meeting topics
c. Salary Survey provided annually
d. Office Practice survey provided every two years
e. Educational program for emerging principals
2. Committee activities
a. Committee met early April before the annual meeting
b. Requested Business Practice Roundtable moderators for each chapter. In 2008-2009 we are going to have committee chairpersons to discuss what their committee does along with current business practice topics.
c. Review and modified Salary survey and Office Practice survey
d. Emerging principals seminar
i. Reviewed previous seminar content and pricing;
ii. Will invite 2007 graduates to the dinner at end of seminar
