Objectives:
1. Develop effective external and internal public relations programs.
2. Increase communications with member firms regarding all ACEC/PA programs and activities.
3. Promote the image of the engineering profession and the contributions of engineers to society.
4. Promote the benefits of membership in ACEC/PA.

Agenda items: review strategic plan for PR-related initiatives; brainstorm activities; recruit volunteers for various projects; refine and finalize scholarship application package for distribution to all accredited engineering schools in PA; review success of the scholarship golf outing. We will also discuss the possibility of an ACEC/PA Scholarship Fund bocce tournament to coincide with the PennDOT/APC conference being held in November. |
