Sutton Road Bridge over Caldwell Creek: Southwest Township is soliciting Statements of Interest (SOI) and Statements of Qualifications for consulting engineers licensed in Pennsylvania and designated as PennDOT ECMS Business Partners to provide construction inspection services for this replacement project.
Consultant Selection Advertisement – Sutton Road

Notice is given that Southampton Township is soliciting Statements of Interest (SOI) and Qualifications for consulting engineers licensed in Pennsylvania and designated as a PENNDOT ECMS Business Partner to act as the Southampton Township Bridge Engineer. The scope of services will include but are not limited to design activities relating to the Local Bridge Program and NBIS Bridge Inspection and Inventory. A 10% DBE Goal will be in effect for the total cost of any Local bridge Project. Southampton Twp will utilize the modified selection process in their determination for professional engineering services.

Wheatfield Township, located in Perry County Pennsylvania, will retain a consultant engineering firm to provide design services for the replacement of the Sulphur Springs Bridge carrying Sulphur Springs Road (T-506) over the Little Juniata Creek. The selected firm(s) must be a PennDOT registered business partner through ECMS.

Notice is hereby given that Pulaski Township will retain an engineering firm to act as the Township Municipal Engineer. Firms interested in performing this work are invited to submit a letter of interest to Lori Sniezek, Township Secretary, Pulaski Township Municipal Building, 1172 State Route 208, Pulaski, PA 16143.
The letter must contain the following information: 1. Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performances of potentially required services; 2. Any specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work that may be required; 3. The firms capacity, or availability of technical staff, to accomplish work in required time frames; 4. Location in the general geographic area of the Municipality and knowledge of the Municipality; and 5. Specific experience and/or qualifications related to any other appropriate evaluation criteria. The Township must receive the letters of interest by 3:30 pm on March 29, 2010.
Pulaski Township encourages responses from small firms, minority firms and firms who have not previously performed work for Pulaski Township. Selection will be based upon, but not limited to: specialized experience and technical competence, past performance, location of consultant, current workload and ability of the consultant to perform work within the time limitations. The assignment of the above services will be made to one of the firms responding to this notice, but Pulaski Township reserves the right to reject all letters of interest submitted, to cancel the solicitations requested under this notice, and/or to re-advertise solicitation for these services.
